Skyword is seeking an experienced SEO strategist to serve in a key role that’s part of a content marketing machine – leading the SEO strategy for the Mobile Device division of our client’s B2B tech portfolio. The SEO Strategist will partner with key client stakeholders and Skyword Content Strategists to identify areas where the client can rank in search through strategic content or technology improvements. You will work with the client’s web team as needed to implement necessary SEO changes. Strong candidates have no problem asking questions and diving into data to develop recommendations that support overall SEO goals. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform keyword research aligning to client business objectives to optimize existing content and uncover new opportunities
• Provide SEO analysis and make recommendations in coordination with elements and structure of websites and web pages
• Make recommendations and execute strategies for content development in coordination with SEO goals – general and keyword specific
• Administer search engine programs (XML sitemaps, webmaster tools) for purposes of reporting
• Advise and Implement link building campaigns in coordination with client SEO goals
• Keep pace with SEO, search engine, social media and internet marketing industry trends and developments
• Monitor and administer web analytics dashboards, reports and key reporting tools, and point out key areas of importance in accordance with client goals
• Monitor and evaluate search results and search performance across the major search channels
• Partner with Skyword Content Strategists to deliver against client goals

Requirements:
• 2 – 4 years experience in Search Engine Optimization and Search Engine Marketing
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Experience with website analysis using a variety of analytics tools including Google Analytics as well as internal reporting tool
• Experience working with popular keyword tools (Google, SEMrush, WordTracker, etc)
• Experience working with CMS and building/administering content in CMS environments
• Desired: Knowledge of HTML/CSS and website administrations
• BS/BA degree preferred
