Job Summary:
The successful candidate will work with senior members of the team to conduct internal and external secondary (desk) research projects as well as some social insights work, leading to innovative and high quality experiences for our clients’ customers and stakeholders. This role provides opportunities to work and partner directly with internal clients in a delivery role.
Responsibilities:
• Handles incoming secondary and social insights requests; interface with local Chicago internal clients to inform projects
• Surface and synthesize a large quantity of secondary materials into key findings appropriate for the client and account teams
• Develop C-level (executive summary) and detailed Powerpoint presentations as well as storyboards to reflect research findings
• Leverage available secondary research sources (e.g. Google, Forrester, Mintel, MRI, Euromonitor, eMarketer, etc.) to determine market dynamics and trends, “needle in the haystack” fact finding requests, best practices, etc.
• Assist with social listening requests to understand Voice of the Consumer
Attribute/Experience Guidelines:
• 1-3 years of relevant experience
• Curious mindset, loves learning
• Enjoys informing others through relevant information
• Evidence of high academic achievement
• Familiarity with secondary research databases
• Experience working with and analyzing qualitative and/or quantitative research data a plus
• Background and strong interest in the digital marketing/commerce/transformation space a plus
• International and/or cross-cultural experience a plus
• Detail orientation with the ability to prioritize and accomplish tasks in a timely fashion
• Strong interest and resourcefulness in finding secondary information
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrates initiative and commitment to relationships
• Ability to function successfully in a fast-paced, collaborative organization
Education:
Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree a plus
