We are seeking an Account Supervisor to join our Los Angeles Account Services team.
Role: The Account Supervisor (AS) reports to the SVP, Group Account Director and VP, Account Director on Acura Regional in directing and coordinating assigned projects. The AS is also responsible for the managing and mentoring of junior account team members for timely execution of all regional traditional (broadcast and print) production as well as digital creative.
Everyday Focus: High quality delivery of multiple projects on fast-paced retail automotive account. Collaboration and choreography among regional team members as well as other agency departments. Problem-solve and promote flawless, day-to-day execution of projects.
Responsibility: Provide unparalleled client partnership. Foster and sell great retail work. Think strategically and deliver ideas. Make briefs and ATMs better. Proactively identify hurdles and be prepared to help solve them. Delivery efficiencies. Understand the automotive industry and competitive environment. Overall fiscal responsibility for billing, estimates, T&R tracker, and production budgets. Provide clear direction and priorities to junior account team members. Promote team work and positive attitudes.
Expectation: Familiarity with traditional and digital processes and production. Strong written and verbal presentation skills. Calm, cool and collected under pressure. Proactive and able to see around corners. Do whatever it takes to get something done. Management and timely completion of multiple retail projects. Experience with managing a small team.
Stretch: Identify efficiencies and opportunities for both client and agency. Participate in bigger strategic thinking. Improve collaboration, communication and integration with National Team and other account groups. Assist SVP and VP for efficient staff deployment.
Key Relationships:
Client: Daily interaction with Acura Regional Marketing clients. Build a trusted partnership based upon respected point-of-views and accurate delivery of assignments.
Agency Peers: Must be seen as strong, collaborative, and knowledgeable about the client's business.
Account Team: Act as a mentor to junior account team members. Focus on training and positive reinforcement. Be approachable, helpful and patient. Provide assistance to the field team. Actively manage up / alert of any red flags. Bring solutions, not problems.
Major Responsibilities & Duties:
• Manage (2) Account Executives and (2) Assistant Account Executives.
• Oversee and take accountability for large scale production projects (both broadcast and print) and as well as retail digital campaigns.
• Review of all ATMs, creative products in various stages, and client communications for accuracy as well as adherence to Acura Brand Guidelines.
• Daily contact with Regional Marketing clients, and delivery on all client expectations and projects.
• Coordinate weekly client status meeting and agenda/materials necessary.
• Work with Acura (RAD) field team on questions and requests in order to manage dealer expectations.
• Work with ESD clients on all international questions and requests.
• Coordinate weekly internal team status meetings and distribution of workload among junior team members.
• Responsibility for billing, estimates, T&R tracker, and production budgets.
