OVERVIEW
Position supports the Payroll group by providing assistance with payroll entry and validation, as well as assisting with the distribution of reports and paychecks. Assists team with administrative duties on an as needed basis.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provides processing support to the Payroll team; validating changes and making updates to employee information in PayForce, printing and reviewing audit reports and preparing final review packages.
• Assists the payroll department with the biweekly distribution of paychecks to employees, and the distribution of payroll reports to Directors and Executives.
• Provides eTIME support; running and reviewing audit reports, helping to obtain timecard approvals and assisting with timecard edits.
• Assists with inquiries made to the Payroll support line (from internal and external sources) and email inbox, as well as handling communications received by mail.
• Prepares correspondence, memos, reports and presentations as needed for the department.
• Coordinates departmental meetings, events and training.
• Also maintains the departmental vacation schedule.
• Performs basic budget tracking assistance and invoice entry for the department.
• Participates in ad hoc projects and provides back-up support for the department as determined by needs.
• Provides all other administrative support as needed; including answering phones, filing, ordering supplies and opening mail.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Candidate will have the ability to establish relationships within all levels of the company.
• They must also have the ability to prioritize responsibilities and follow-up and resolve outstanding issues.
• The candidate must be able to make decisions with minimal supervisory assistance, be detail oriented and possess solid organizational and analytical skills.
• This position demands proper business phone etiquette and solid verbal and written communications skills.
• The candidate should also have experience in Oracle and Microsoft Office.
