about the role
key accountabilities
• Provide presales design support for low - medium level complexity solutions for both new and existing customers requiring Orange Business Services Solutions, managed networks services or IS contracts in support of sales. Primary focus is on network services.
• Support sales in positioning billable consulting work to customers when such services will facilitate progression towards or closure of Orange Business Services Solutions, large networks, or IS contracts
• Maintain a thorough understanding of the external tools that are required in conjunction with internal tools, systems and processes in order to develop quality / approved technical proposals to customers.
• Contribution to the Knowledge Management - Bid Management Repository
• Based on specific skills and project assignment work activity could be focused at the regional, territory or local level
• Secure as required additional resources to accommodate specific customer requirements in accordance with Orange Business Services established processes and policies
• Ability to interface with customers as required in support of internal sales, operational personnel, or established third party relationships
• Expected to act in a coaching role and provide support to less experiences team members.
Financial- in order to encourage skill growth for career development and support expansion / strengthening of teaming the presales consult can have a billable revenue target of not less than $20K per annum, this target can be higher based on the level and area of subject matter expertise.
People management- Can act as a team lead on occasion corrdinating / managing as many as 12 individuals for specific assignments. Most of the time the team lead function would be within region, however it could be a global assignment coordination / management activity that crosses regional boundaries.

• Degree in relevant technical field
• Technical certifications in area of expertise (i.e. CCIE)
experience
Minimum of 5-10 years related work experience in customer facing organizations within the telecom or IT industry or equivalent (military services, etc.)
