Aubri Balk Inc. Artist Management is an artist management agency representing a talented group of hair, make up & styling artists for online, print, and TV commercial assignments. With artists based in New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco, we deliver brand building visual teams for a broad spectrum of clients.
We are seeking a Client Relations & New Business Specialist whose natural tendency is to be dedicated to service ensuring the best possible outcome for all involved, delivered in a sophisticated and nurturing way. We are known for creating strong relationships with integrity and providing a high-level experience for both artists and clients alike.
Working with our clients requires a commitment to a high level of customer service and a good amount of humility. We are actively seeking someone with a proven track record for artist management and client relations and new business sales. The ideal candidate for this position is self-motivated, an innovated thinker, detailed oriented and has impeccable follow through skills.
Job Summary
As a Client Relations & New Business Specialist, you’ll be above average at navigating and understanding a wide range of human dynamics in the work place and become an expert in understanding our core service offering to clients and the artists alike.
You will work to support Aubri Balk and be responsible for establishing new business and managing projects currently being booked. This position is critical to building client advocacy and ensuring continued profitability of the firm through organic growth and referral opportunities by setting and maintaining high service standards for the firm, creating positive client experiences, and fostering a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
This individual spends almost all their time in client relations & new business activities so Aubri can focus efforts on growing the firm.
Responsibilities:
• Skillfully negotiate rates and budgets for photo shoot assignments
• Seamlessly manage bookings and coordinate all project details for artists’ upcoming shoots
• Develop meaningful and new client relationships, while maintaining existing ones
• Define and execute short and long term sales strategies to ensure solid growth
Skills & Experience:
• In-depth understanding of the commercial photography industry
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with artists and clients
• Project Management
• Outstanding organizational skills, ability to multi-task and maintain projects from start to finish
• Well-spoken with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team
• Proficient with Microsoft office, Photoshop, Illustrator and WordPress.
This is an office related position only, no travel required at this time. Please be comfortable working with a west coast time zone. Candidate salary and compensation will be commensurate with experience.
