Fox Digital Consumer Group (DCG) is a strategic business unit within Fox Networks Group (FNG). The group’s focus is the development of TV and long-form, video-centric products that bring Fox’s content to more consumers. This includes the continued innovation of Fox’s existing TV Everywhere products, including FXNOW, FOX NOW, Nat Geo TV and Fox Sports Go, as well as the creation of brand-new consumer propositions.

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
The media industry is going through a period of immense consumer driven change as OTT and digital access to television increases. The Fox Digital Consumer Group is a new strategic business unit within Fox Networks Group (FNG). The group’s focus is developing TV and video-centric products bringing Fox’s content to more consumers in new and exciting ways. First, it will be bringing together and furthering the innovation of Fox’s existing TV Everywhere products including FX Now, Fox Now, the Nat Geo TV app and Fox Sports Go. Next, it will be working to develop and bring to market direct to consumer propositions, in the US and internationally.
• Work on collaborative strategy team projects
• Help to manage the day-to-day editorial process of entertainment apps (FOX NOW, FXNOW and Nat Geo TV)
• Perform content audits on Web, Mobile and Living Room Platforms
• Update sport and entertainment events on DCG Master Outlook Calendar
• Assist in helping to create presentations for stakeholders
• Variety of strategic and operational projects (e.g. innovation, intern discovery project, etc.)
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
• The intern will learn how to work within a quick-moving, entrepreneurial department
• Gain industry knowledge in the digital video landscape
• Discover what it takes to be an industry leader through strategy and innovation
• Gain valuable hands on experience with communications, research and presentation skills
QUALIFICATIONS
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills appropriate for interaction with executive leadership and internal stakeholders
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Strong organizational and follow-through skills
• Effective management of multiple tasks simultaneously and under time pressure
• Self-motivated, flexible, remains calm under pressure
• Advanced computer literacy, especially with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word
To participate in Fox’s Internship program you must meet the following criteria:
• Applicants must be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited university and be sophomore status or above.
• Be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship by the Company.
• Housing is not provided, so please have a housing option guaranteed before applying.
