Job Functions:
VEVO
• Day-to-day Operational Support
YouTube/Facebook
• Assist with claim management and monetizing UMG audio and visual content
• Manage assets and policy changes
• Analyze and process user disputes and appeals
• Analyze and process asset related queues
• Review, evaluate and resolve ownership conflicts
• Document Issues and create the agenda for bi-weekly ops calls
UMG Resource Rights Systems
• Assist with asset evaluation in UMG’s asset based systems
• Work with global BA departments to ensure rights and flags are correct in UMG rights systems
• Help define processes and document them for new resource based partners
Territory/Label Support
• Manage (Respond to) requests from various Op Cos in a timely manner
• Provide consistent Label and Territory support
Job Requirements:
Skills/Abilities:
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent IT skills including advanced Excel
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to juggle multiple parallel tasks
• Personable and able to work with a wide variety of stakeholders both internally and externally
• Ability to prioritize across multiple projects
• Self-motivated, with the ability to work to strict deadlines unsupervised
• Proven ability to find solutions to problems
• Have a keen interest in the digital music/media industry and the technology that surrounds it
Experience:
• Experience using Universal in-house systems
• Experience working across international territories
• Knowledge of content management and delivery systems, ideally including YouTube and VEVO CMS.
Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree
