JOB DESCRIPTION
FoxNext
is driving immersive, next generation entertainment experiences in the areas of virtual and augmented reality, mobile, console and pc games and location-based entertainment across Twentieth Century Fox Film and Fox Network Group. The division consists of FoxNext Games, FoxNext Destinations and FoxNext VR Studio. Fox has a successful track record identifying exceptional games and publishing partners across the mobile and console/PC space, such as Family Guy: Another Freakin’ Mobile Game, Animation Throwdown: The Quest for Cards, The Simpsons Tapped Out, Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff, Ice Age Adventures, Sugar Smash: Book of Life and Alien: Isolation. FoxNext VR Studio will oversee VR experiences, such as the already announced ALIEN and PLANET OF THE APES productions, and work to commercialize Fox’s overarching VR strategy. FoxNext Destinations will oversee the company’s location-based entertainment business including the development of the 20th Century Fox World theme park in Malaysia.
Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst, Finance
Division/Dept: FoxNext Finance
Position Summary
Primarily responsible for accounting, finance, and reporting requirements associated with operations of FoxNext Games and Destinations.
Responsibilities:
• Process royalty reports through MediaMorph, create invoices, and manage cash collection.
• Prepare various month-end journal entries and monthly P&L flash schedules and cash flow statements, including explanation of variances.
• Prepare various GL reconciliations, including cash, AR and deferred revenue.
• Prepare quarterly Name and Likeness statements for Participations.
• Process expense reports for operational groups.
• Update mobile game performance schedules and models used in budgeting/forecasting
• Assist with ad-hoc reporting requests from operational groups.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent in a business discipline
• Financial analysis experience, along with general understanding of accounting
• Possess strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong knowledge of Excel; experience with PeopleSoft Financials, MediaMorph and QuickBooks is a plus
• Must be organized and able to multi-task
• Must be able to work efficiently, meet deadlines and be pro-active in resolving issues
• Must be a team player, detail oriented, a self-starter and able to work independently
