Job Summary:
The Office Manager provides administrative and general office support to the fun and fast growing SG Interactive team in Austin! Job duties would include but is not limited to, scheduling and planning meetings, office supply inventory, managing calendars, conference rooms, presentation support, planning office culture events, basic HR functions, onboarding, payroll and benefits communication, coordinating travel for visitors and/or new hires, coordination with game teams and other administrative duties as assigned.
Essential Job Functions:
• Partner with Human Resources to deliver various policies, procedures, initiatives, standards and regulations through providing training and effective communications to employees and management
• First point of contact for any payroll, benefits or on-boarding issues and liazon to Human Resources to appropriately facilitate resolution of employee relations matters that may arise
• In conjunction with Talent Acquisition Team coordinate interviews and representation at community recruiting events
• Provide support services to the employees of the Austin office, including the development of presentations, spreadsheets, correspondence, travel management and expense administration
• Maintain inventory of office and break room supplies, handle shipping and mail distribution
• Answering office telephone and greet both internal and external guests
• Manage relationship with vendors, facilities, utilities and IT
• Assist in planning and organizing company culture events and company sponsored trips
• Coordinate, plan and facilitate staff and departmental meetings
Position Requirements
Qualifications
Required Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 5+ years experience of office/clerical support experience
• 1 or more years of exposure to HR policies and procedures
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Positive attitude
• Ability to objectively coach employees and management at all levels through complex, difficult, emotional, and sensitive issues
• Time management and multi-tasking skills
• Ability to organize and prioritize work and handle multiple competing deadlines
• High level of integrity and strict adherence to protecting confidential information
• Advanced proficiency of MS Office products
