Job Summary:
Serves as a senior knowledge specialist to the Research & Insights team. Executes complex secondary research requests from various industry verticals (e.g. retail, financial services, foodservice, travel and hospitality, tech, etc.), digital practice areas and global regions to support proposals, client delivery and thought leadership. Collaborates with other members of the Research & Insights team to help participate in research for the purposes of formulating strategy, discovering opportunities, and assessing designs. Partners with members of the Strategy & Consulting practice to inform best practices, market sizing, benchmarking and digital transformation efforts.
Responsibilities:
• Partners with internal teams to identify and address critical knowledge needs and shape research for deliverables
• Leverage available secondary research sources (e.g. Forrester, Mintel, Factiva, eMarketer, Google, etc.) to provide sophisticated synthesis and analysis of secondary information into key findings for client and account teams. Develop C-level and detailed PowerPoint presentations to reflect research findings.
• Inform internal and external teams on trends and industry dynamics and advise clients on implications of digital in various industry verticals
• Helps develop the Research & Insights service portfolio
• Coaches and mentors junior team members
Experience Guidelines:
• 7+ years industry/research experience or 5+ years in consulting role
• Proven interest and resourcefulness in informing others through relevant information; expertise with secondary research databases
• Expertise working with conducting and/or analyzing qualitative and/or quantitative research data a plus
• Background and strong interest in the digital marketing/commerce/transformation space a plus
• Detail orientation with the ability to prioritize and accomplish tasks in a timely fashion
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills
• Initiative taker
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Curious mindset, loves learning
• Possessing a spirit of helpfulness and team-first mentality; strong collaborator
• Ability to work independently as well working well with others on a team
• Ability to function successfully in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
Education:
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred. Evidence of high academic achievement/intellectual curiosity desired.
