Job Description
The Media Supervisor of Digital Investment will collaborate with internal partners, vendors and the client to oversee buying and investment initiatives including the creation, execution, and monitoring of media buys to secure the best options for a high-profile, mobile, electronics and home appliances retailer. The ideal candidate for this position will be a thoughtful dgitial-first decision maker and team player who loves using data to drive results. Must-haves include over 3 years of media experience including previous experience in the digital investment space with a proven track record of leading a team. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
• Own tactical plan development, recommendation building, and negotiations across their respective channels
• Collaborate with key partners including clients, internal teams, and leadership
• Lead strategic planning initiatives including deck writing, budget and channel allocation, and audience development
• Analyze data to inform purchase and channel allocation
• Develop guidelines & budget allocations
• Lead strategic planning initiatives including deck writing, budget and channel allocation and audience development
• Oversee day-to-day campaign execution and is responsible for ensuring campaigns deliver on KPIs
• Support development of strategic approach and experience design by delivering channel ideas and providing the link to reality of historical performance and in-market opportunities
• Responsible for management and development of Associates
Qualifications
-Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications or related field preferred
• 3 years of paid digital media buying, negotiation, and implementation experience in an agency environment is required (direct
• partner buys, mobile and OLV)
• Strong written and verbal communication (PPT, visual story telling necessary) allowing individual to explain how plans were developed,
what they entail, and how they will be executed
• Experience with presenting and interacting with clients on a day-to-day basis
• Be up to speed and fluent on the ever evolving digital landscape and industry trend
• Attend publisher meetings and develop expertise in digital opportunities, new technologies, digital platforms, innovation, research insights and capabilities, industry learning, etc.
• Collaborate with inter-agency teams and external partners (such as creative agencies, PR, strategy teams, etc.) to manage client needs across all campaign layers
• Assist in training and development of both Senior Associate and Digital Media Planner
• Competency with the use of media buying and planning tools (Prisma, ComScore, Ad Servers, Ad Verification, etc.)
• Although role will focus on direct digital strategy, planning and buying, knowledge in areas of programmatic, paid social and paid search is also preferred
