Summary
The Marketing Manager - Digital & Account Mgmt. (MM) is responsible for providing world-class marketing services for prospective and existing Academic Partners. The MM may develop or work with various internal/external teams to identify, manage, and deliver services such as: the design and deployment of partner opportunities/assets, account management, marketing strategy, messaging, creative, digital channel management, project and brand management. The MM utilizes their strong marketing and communications skills & services to optimize partner relationships to exceed results. The MM may be allocated to focus on a particular component of the marketing life cycle and or service.
General Responsibilities
• Provides Marketing Client Service Management by creating synergies with internal teams and Academic Partners which empowers the business to exceed objectives.
• Works on the overall marketing strategy, which includes planning and implementation of marketing initiatives. Works collaboratively with channel owners (PPC, SEO, Portals, Email, IA) to ensure optimal channel performance.
• Supports communications projects for various components of the marketing life cycle or services.
• Proactively works to optimize lead generation and cultivation of those leads through the pipeline.
• Participates in the development, execution and/or servicing of marketing objectives. Handles creative job submissions, email deployments, website updates in Word Press and utilizing CRM database and excel to track performance.
• Prepares & presents materials/findings both internally and externally for the marketing communications area he or she supports.
• Provides Academic Partner insights and strategies which help enable internal & external teams deliver results that exceed objectives.
• Creates buy-in from multiple constituents in a collaborative cross-functional environment.
• Adheres to and manages annual marketing budget.
Qualifications
General Qualifications
• Strong digital (PPC, SEO, Web, Social, IA and Email) experience.
• Content marketing. Ability to review/edit copy/blogs and write copy, at times, when needed.
• Superior attention to detail, excellent organizational & project management skills, with an agile mindset
• The ability to multi-task, and work well under pressure with tight timelines
• Experience working on and implementing account management strategies which exceed client and business objectives
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PPT, Word). Wrike, Exact Target, SurveyMonkey, WebEx or On24, and WordPress a plus.
• Professional oral and written communication skills for effective relationship development/management and presentations with stakeholders
• 4-year degree from an accredited institution in Marketing, Journalism, English, Public Relations, Communications, Business Administration or related field, OR appropriate combination of education and significant experience
