As an advisor within the Resident Shows Division, you will be responsible for being a strategic thought partner working collaboratively with aligned executives to drive talent and organizational strategies that help achieve business goals and objectives. You will also provide strategic, integrated thinking and consultative support to the business that will attract, develop, and drive talent outcomes.
You will be a champion at:
• Developing, managing, and measuring the effectiveness the talent strategies to ensure Cirque du Soleil is the global employer of choice;
• Implementing a result-driven comprehensive recruitment plan consistent with the strategic vision of Cirque du Soleil Talent Acquisition Team to support all levels of the organization;
• Building relationships with company leadership to become a more strategic business partner and gain insights on operations and to understand the functions of all positions within each department;
• Professionally representing Cirque du Soleil at local and regional job fairs, conventions, and conferences and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external contacts;
• Executing methods, unique marketing strategies, and process improvement to achieve desired staffing outcomes;
• Utilizing creative and non-traditional recruitment strategies to help build an experienced, skilled, and diverse talent pool;
• Implementing special recruitment programs aimed at attracting candidates for both high volume and technical positions;
• Measuring targeted results vs. expected outcomes and address concerns or ideas for improvement;
• Researching and developing Talent Acquisition yearly budget;
• Participating in professional networks and/or staying up to date on current research to ensure awareness of social, economic, and regulatory trends that may affect the business and future talent strategies;
• Maintaining a solid understanding of Cirque du Soleil culture and communicating the company philosophy of development and growth as it related to position.
Ideally, you will have:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or related field;
• Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in HR with an emphasis in Recruiting or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
• Ability to problem solve, take initiative to complete assignments independently, evaluate work process for effective and make changes as needed;
• Ability to work in a fast paced, high volume recruitment environment;
• Fluency in English;
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Windows. Experience with various ATS systems, ADP HRB Module, and Success Factors knowledge is an asset;
• Working knowledge of U.S. labor laws. Knowledge of U.S immigration is an asset.
