Description:
• Achieve monthly revenue goals for SoCal region inclusive of Los Angeles, San Diego and Riverside/Palm Springs markets.
• Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive new business and increase sales across broadcast, digital and live events.
• Recruit and retain effective “hunters” motivated to win.
• Provide consistent coaching and sales strategy for regional sellers.
• Work with Southern California Market Managers and General Sales Managers to develop regional sales plans and presentations.
• Develop and maintain business relationships with key clients to cultivate their business through ETM resources and emerging opportunities.
• Identify and develop deep relationships with brands headquartered in the Orange County market and beyond.
• Monitor sales activity, pacing and budgets and develop strategies to achieve goals.
• Be a creative problem solver and motivator.
• Distribute leads to sales staff from multiple resources.
• Represent Company with professionalism and integrity.
• Maintain effective interdepartmental relationships.
• Stay current with market trends, competitor products, pricing and other market information.
Other duties as required by supervisor.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5+ years’ sales management experience, preferably in media industry. Position requires a demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team of winners and to be a reactive problem solver with a track record of success with agency, direct and event sales. 4 year degree preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Valid state driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle required. Requires frequent travel within the SoCal region.
