Job Description
Overview:
Responsible for business & strategic insight for a Leading Group in the Luxury Industry based in NY
Responsibilities:
Global Remit (20%)
• Client Lead and key point of entry to Zenith for the Bottega Veneta Client on all operational subjects.
• Support in developing Global media Strategies; pressure test local market recommendations across Europe & Asia, US. Supervises and consolidates the output from Zenith Agencies across the Network.
• Supported by junior team of 2, based in Paris
• Identifies Strategic & business development opportunities for Bottega Veneta, & broader Kering global relationship
• Coordinates activities and drive teams from different departments within Zenith/Publicis on ad-hoc basis depending of projects.
• Drives and coordinates information flow and requests to all the Zenith Agencies across the world and acts as Lead contact for all the teams across the world
• Delivers global guidelines and coordinating worldwide campaigns across a wide range of media traditional and digital, which could include but is not limited to: TV, Print, Outdoor, Display advertising, Video on line, Emailing, Partnerships and Mobile.
• Regular meetings with media owners to remain aware of the latest offers/innovations and opportunities for the Client.
US Remit (80%)
• Associate Director of Strategy responsible for developing holistic plan recommendations across Kering portfolio of 7+ brands & seeing through to execution
• Leverage tools, both proprietary & syndicated sources to drive strategic recommendations
• Responsible for ensuring US plans developed in line with both global strategy & local market nuance & priorities, based on briefings
• Identifies key target insights based on client brief necessary for formulating communication strategy.
• Evaluates composition of a wide range of media vehicles to determine which would most effectively reach the target audience. Effectively communicates and solicits agreement of best opportunities for clients.
• Supervising, training and developing staff of 3 direct reports, but broader integrated team of 6+
• Foster collaborative, integrated team environment & mindset across all disciplines (investment, strategy, research, global, local)
• Drive innovation & thought leadership by bringing forward innovative opportunities in line with luxury marketplace
• Deliver annual media landscape update for US market
Qualifications
• 6+ years’ experience in a similar position (agency or client) but must have media experience.
• Experience with Luxury Clients or similar: Fashion, Fragrances & Cosmetics, Watches, Jewelry.
• International experience a plus; desire & ambition to work on global businesses essential.
• Affinity with Luxury Brands and nuances: Language, relationships, connectivity with editorial/PR & associated importance of print, elevated planning
• Strong digital background and experience in developing and implementing global strategy
• Good relationship skills and at ease with direct Client relationship.
• Works in a team and has dual reporting lines to the International Business Director in Paris as well as SVP, Client & Strategy leads in US.
• Dynamic, curious, interested in communication and advertising.
• Available to travel for short as well as long trips of several days.
• English a must. French is a plus but fluency not essential.
