With over 26 million listeners each month and a rapidly growing portfolio of programs and partners, you'll be leading development and execution of creative, measurable and impactful campaigns to increase our digital, social and broadcast audience.
Responsibilities
The WNYC Marketing Project Coordinator will run a variety of digital marketing projects, providing day-to-day support and organization to the audience development team and its partners. They bring to bear a holistic understanding of project planning, budget control, project tracking and reporting, risk and issue analysis, and quality assurance. Our coordinators communicate, collaborate, fill in the gaps, forecast the future, and connect the dots, speaking as deftly about branding and outreach as they do about Gantt charts and logistics.
Build and manage plans and budgets for projects ranging from quick-turnaround interactives to large-scale, multi-year projects.
Monitor and manage projects from day-to-day, week-to-week, phase-to-phase, and project-to-project.
Manage and build relationships between stakeholders at a project level.
Lead cross-functional teams, including marketing, digital, membership, and editorial strategists.
Regularly and expertly communicate expectations and timelines with project teams.
Challenge business-as-usual with new ideas, practices, and perspectives.
Deliver stellar, world-class creative work on time and on budget.
Qualifications
2-3 years in a project coordinator or junior project manager role, executing and supporting strategic marketing efforts.
Strong knowledge of project management techniques, the creative process, and stakeholder management.
Excellent verbal, written, budgeting, resource planning, scheduling, and presentation skills.
Outstanding commitment, professionalism, leadership, enthusiasm, flexibility, sense of humor, and team spirit.

Affinity for New York Public Radio; WNYC and/or WQXR content and mission a plus.
Compliance with WNYC/WQXR policies and guidelines.
Ability to work extended hours as needed.
