Do you have genuine love and appreciation for K-Pop and Asian TV series? Do you follow influencers creating content around K-Pop, K-Beauty, or Asian culture? Are you interested in breathing new life into your marketing campaigns and taking new approaches? If so, you may be the perfect candidate to join our marketing team!
Responsibilities:
• Work closely with stakeholders to develop, execute, and measure creative marketing campaigns to drive traffic to Soompi and Viki, increase pageviews and watch time, support sales campaigns, and increase loyalty to our brands
• Collaborate with creative teams on how to position and present various content, events, and initiatives; actively participate in creative asset development
• Work with social team to grow and engage Soompi & Viki audiences on relevant social platforms
• Identify trending themes and types of content our current and potential audience would engage with and align them with the appropriate channels (Soompi editorial, in-house and influencer videos, social media, paid, etc)
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, New Media or related field
• 1+ year(s) experience in brand, entertainment, or studio marketing operations
• Strong communication skills along with the ability to think strategically and creatively
• Ability to thrive and multi-task in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
• Self-motivated, proactive, and positive attitude
• Ability to collaborate and work with international teams and departments across time zones, particularly in Asia
• Passion for K-Pop and dramas is a MUST
Bonus:
• Sales Marketing experience
• Graphic design experience
