Job Description
General Responsibilities
: Process account receivables and provide administrative support.
Specific Responsibilities:
• Research, process and resolve payments exceptions.
• Prepare outbound mail for distribution to the field.
• Prepare, verify and process customer payments in the billing and accounting system.
• Research and resolve discrepancies with collection agencies and customers.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
• Obtain, monitor and distribute daily bank balances and activities to the field.
• Provide administrative support to the cash management department, such as opening mail, and distributing correspondence.
• Other duties as assigned or directed.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Accounting or Business Associate degree is preferred.
• 2 - 4 years of experience in customer service, account receivables, or banking required.
• Must have the ability to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment & meet deadlines.
• Must have excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Must be a self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with related computer applications, spreadsheets, word processing, and database applications.
