In this critical role at Vevo, the Yield analyst will work collaboratively with Yield Management to drive strategic pricing objectives in market. The Yield analyst will analyze and report on inventory, revenue, eCPM’s and other key metrics that will inform decision making around revenue maximization.
As a member of the greater Revenue Operations team here at Vevo, you’ll be working alongside super talented individuals that will both inspire you and challenge you to think about things like strategic sales planning, inventory forecasting/utilization, and ad product pricing/packaging in ways you hadn’t imagined. We often take time as a team to review new industry trends and advancements, and think critically about various things happening in the world around us that may impact the ways we decide to be more strategic as a team overall. We have a phenomenal team made up of accomplished individuals from Inventory Analysts, Campaign Managers to Sales Operations specialists, and we’re excited about having you join us!
As a Member of the Team, You Will
• Provide analysis and insights to Senior Management to aid in crafting a pricing strategy for Agency and Scatter clients in market
• Report and analyze monthly sell through and adjust pricing for new and existing products as necessary
• Work with Sales Solutions in creating pricing packages for any custom programs and new ad products
• Monitor, track and report on eCPM’s by product, agency and client
• Analyze and track compositions of demos for Audience Guarantees as well viewability across our platform and provide pricing solutions to management as necessary
• Field all make-good requests as well as track and report trends to Senior Management
• Collaborate with the VP of Yield Management on all Business Development needs around view projections and revenue potential for new distribution platforms or partnerships
• Track Sponsorship Ad Mix to ensure pricing integrity on a monthly basis, reporting such trends to management with actionable solutions
• Collaborate with the Inventory team on crafting Video Premiere pricing packages in market
• Provide insight on key Yield Metrics to Sales Operations to form a part of Quarterly Sales Reports
• Set rate card changes and adjust pricing / rate cards as needed
• Work on revenue share projections to reconcile against such invoices on a monthly basis
• Extrapolate and report on data from YT Analytics, DFP, Moat and others as needed to inform decision making
• Develop quantitative analysis, ad hoc reports and models to support decision making

Requirements
• 2+ years of experience in pricing and planning, yield management or sales operations / analytics required
• Experience with digital ad serving systems such as FreeWheel or DFP
• Experience with Salesforce and Operative
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint
