JOB DESCRIPTION
Role:
20th Century Fox and Fox Filmed Entertainment is currently conducting a search for a Senior Financial Analyst, with focus on product analysis and strategic support. This role is in 20th Century Fox Worldwide Home Entertainment Finance group. This position is responsible for preparation of title and box office estimates and analyses to support WWHE Marketing and Sales efforts including; title greenlights, title budgeting, marketing P&Ls, cost standards, efficiencies, post mortem analysis, comparative and breakeven analysis, as well as other ad hoc analysis and reporting as needed.
Responsibilities:
• Movie title P&L analysis including greenlight analysis, marketing P&Ls, and cost standard development.
• Financial planning and analysis, heavy forecasting and feature projections
• Develop and maintain complex models in excel to aid in financial modeling, reporting, and analysis.
• Specifically, partner with marketing and sales to conduct title profitability, breakeven scenarios, trade term, and other transactional distribution analyses.
• Ad hoc financial analysis in support of marketing and sales.
• Process improvement to make processes more efficient and aid in decision making for marketing and sales.
Requirements:
• B.A. Degree in Finance, Economics or Business preferred
• M.B.A Graduate Degree specializing in Accounting, Business Administration and/or Finance highly desired
• 3 to 5 years relevant experience in valuations, financial planning and analysis
• Excellent finance, analytical and forecasting skills, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel including Pivot Tables and VLook-ups and financial modeling.
• Familiarity with global market trends or international market performance is helpful
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills.
• Able to handle multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously.
• Prior entertainment and or digital finance experience preferred.
• Familiarity with JDE, Micro Strategy, Access, Seibel, VBA, and Business Objects a plus.
