Forbes is seeking a detailed, driven, creative thinker to join our growing team as a Brand Marketing Associate reporting directly to the Senior Brand Marketing Manager. This person will help amplify and maintain the world’s #1 business news brand to drive advertising and partnership revenue through our sales team. The Brand Marketing Associate will work with the Brand Marketing team to plan, produce and execute a range of programs including marketing and sales collateral, client outreach via email campaigns, social strategy, events and any other tools that will bring in new business and generate more revenue from existing media partnerships.
Responsibilities:
Brand Materials & Collateral
• Create & maintain sales collateral including: Media kits, sell sheets and materials for franchises, events, programs, products and demographics
• Convey messaging of Forbes digital and print editorial themes
• Create presentations to showcase the strength of the Forbes brand across multiple platforms (print, digital, mobile, BrandVoice, events, etc.) for C-level & top management to present at industry events
• Plan, create, execute and track campaign blasts and client and internal newsletters
Marketing Automation & Campaigns
• Campaign planning and execution
• Integrated use of Salesforce & Marketing automation systems
• Extract and analyze meaningful data to drive future actions and feedback/interaction with sales
• Initiate and drive user experience/journey across all interactions
• Use existing systems such as Offerpop to drive engagement
Digital tools
• Support cross departmental website rollouts
• Assist in content production and maintenance for several Forbes property sites, and own content maintenance for Forbesmedia.com
• Work with in-house and agency developers to rollout improvements to digital sites
Social
• Develop social media strategy with Brand Marketing Director and Forbes social media team; post relevant content/articles to ForbesPromo social media accounts
• Schedule and track interactions using social listening tools such as Sprinklr
Research & Data
• Work with analytics and research to define criteria for extracting and mining audience data, and curate statistics in order to build audience stories and content
• Competitive Analysis
Requirements:
• 6 months experience (internships count!)
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Collaborate with internal teams (including sales, marketing, creative, editorial and others), clients and agencies
• Work well with all levels in the company from administration to senior management
• Ability to work efficiently on multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
• Strong writing skills/verbal & written communications skills

Special Requirements:
• Copy writing skills
• Wordpress CMS experience
• MS Office Suite (Word/Powerpoint/Excel) – Power User
• Basic design skills (InDesign; PhotoShop)
• Experience working with Marketing Automation systems a HUGE PLUS
• Experience with social platforms and social management sites a plus
• HTML basic experience a plus
Education Required/Preferred:
• College Degree
