JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Summary
• Assists Nat Geo Creative Services, by facilitating all functions necessary to maintaining the image and video Archive, including the system software, data integrity and asset collection; and to support all special projects within Nat Geo Creative
Responsibilities
• Ingest digital assets from internal and external photograph and footage suppliers, handle technical aspects for getting assets online with appropriate metadata. Assist in resolving issues with existing collections on our site, i.e. image removal, metadata changes. Monitor sites for user functionality and potential improvements. Coordinate and distribute internal communications regarding digital Archive collection updates and system upgrades for NGP and FNG users.
• Assist with marketing projects, particularly social media strategy and posts. Assist with special projects such as internal data gathering and analysis (i.e. asset needs, workflow), special events and presentations.
• Be familiar with all aspects of digital Archive system(s), including the processing and organization of NGP and NGS assets into the system; assist with data clean-up as necessary. Train new staff on digital Archive system(s).

• Research licensing infringements.
• Manage vendor onboarding.
• Field NGP and NGS staff questions about photo usage and rights. Review, vet and route internal research inquiries and track internal requests. Review, route and respond to internal and external inquiries regarding the photo and video collections.
Qualifications
• Bachelors degree is required with experience in CMS management/digital publishing.
• Organizational, scheduling, data analysis & summarization.
• Working knowledge of Excel, Powerpoint, and Photoshop is a plus.
