Job Description:
Job Summary
This role drives development of client digital business and develops and cultivates key partnerships to grow HMI capabilities and visibility.
The Media Supervisor will work with the digital and brand team to develop digital channel strategies and recommend final media plans that meet campaign imperatives and client objectives.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
20%- Leads Assistant Planners, Planners in plan development in areas such as:
• Manage daily workload and associated timelines of planners and junior planners
• Help define goals and ensure all campaigns are on strategy and meet client objectives (media & creative)
• Provide active leadership in communication optimization strategies, proactively communicating challenges and opportunities
• Investigate cross-platform opportunities across display, mobile, social and video; engage eCRM and Search teams as appropriate
• Partake in group brainstorming sessions with the intentions of bringing great ideas to life
20%- Leading campaign execution
• Ensure negotiations ensue and are of the highest quality
• Cross check plans and all supporting documents (spec/TI sheets, IOs, billing docs)
• Double check and sign IOs, ensuring adherence to T’s & C’s, negotiating changes when necessary
• Provide analysis on media delivery, performance, trends and future implications in PCAs
30%- Effectively managing team development and process
• Act as a role model for Media Planning team
• Explore areas for growth within the team across display, mobile, social and video
• Conduct performance reviews for media planning team
30%- Industry/client leadership and insights
• Participate in overall client media strategy development in order to deeply understand the role marketplace media plays in larger media objectives
• Opportunity to ultimately manage direct client strategy responsibilities based upon bandwidth and demonstrated aptitude
• Work independently to plan key account(s) as necessary
• Seek growth opportunities for clients
• Act as day-to-day liaison between agency and publishers, meeting with sales rep and management to maintain relationships, stay on top of offerings and develop compelling/innovative ideas for clients
• Seek new trends and opportunities within the industry; develop POVs to share with clients and media team
• Represent agency at industry conferences and events
• Develop Case Studies for internal and new business use
• Participate in new business
• Responsible for ensuring the involvement of subject matter experts throughout the planning process
• Meets with subject matter experts at frequency and consistency set by Integrated Associate Media Director and respective subject matter expert for educational and continued advancement
Supervisory Responsibilities
Supervises Assistant Planner and Media Planner
Knowledge and Skills Required
• BA/BS required
• 4-6 years digital planning experience
• Advanced computer knowledge (Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience with a third party ad server (DART/DFA preferred)
• On top of industry trends
• Advance computer knowledge (Excel, Powerpoint)
• Experience with a third party ad server (DART/DFA preferred)
• Strong writing, presentation and strategic and analytical thinking skills
• Able to work independently and have excellent time management skills

·Organized, and detail-oriented with strong attention to follow-through
• Nimble and flexible to succeed in a fast-paced environment and handle ad hoc requests
• Strong team player
• Interest and familiarity through use of digital media
