Informa Business Intelligence is looking for a talented and motivated (and fun to work with) Contract, Talent Acquisition Partnerto join our internal recruitment function. Based in our Midtown, Manhattanoffice, this Contract, Talent Acquisition Partner will be a part of a national team of Talent Acquisition Partners. This team is crucial to the continued growth and success of the business as it continues to scale, and we are truly passionate about what we do! In this role you will:
• Partner with HRBP to understand the business, workforce planning and future hiring needs
• Work closely with Hiring Managers to define position requirements and develop effective recruiting strategies to find, engage and directly hire great talent
• Provide hiring managers with a flow of candidates that demonstrate the experience, skills and personal attributes in the correct compensation bracket
• Create an amazing candidate experience from first communication to offer
• Build effective trust based, value added partnerships with hiring managers and business leaders
• Educate the hiring community with best practice interviews and candidate evaluation
• Utilize all the tools and job boards effectively and in a timely manner
• Partner with shared service centre with interview scheduling, contracts and admin
• Provide real time feedback of the job market, compensation etc
• Continually develop E V P to make Informa an employer of choice
• Operate strategically and work together on projects that will enhance the Talent Acquisition function
We’d love to speak with you if you:
• Have previous end-to-end recruitment experience, we prefer you to have had some agency experience too.
• Possess a natural ability to influence without being pushy.
• Love autonomy; We won’t be measuring call times or how much time you spend at your desk, but you get awesome results.
• Like to change things up if you spot something isn’t working? Good, we need that too.
• Provide guidance on appropriate interview techniques and questions; oversee scheduling and logistics of interviews when necessary.
• Are an excellent communicator both internally and externally – you can craft brilliant e-mails and hold beautifully engaging phone calls.
• Care about the experience of our candidates and understand what can make the process painful (and avoid those bits).
• Have an eye for detail, nothing gets past you.
• Will jump in and help your team without thinking twice.
