Job Description
The Operations Director is essential to ensuring Apex products and services are successfully delivered across our global markets.
The Operations Director will work with all local Apex markets to manage the flow of media execution across our footprint. They will establish a cadence for processes and execution of deliverables, including campaign set-up, delivery and reporting within the Apex business structure.
Qualifications
Core Responsibilities:
• Support markets with set up and growth of Apex, putting in place processes for invoicing, bookings and reporting
• Develop inventory management tools, i.e.: inventory tracking across all deals, and overall pacing
• Work with local markets to assess client opportunities for Apex by reviewing media plans and strategies
• Own the global templates to consolidate market-level reporting and roll-up deliverables
• Disseminate product information and ensure usage of key Apex offerings
• Work with global marketing, product to bring global materials and best practices to local markets
Additional Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
• Work with regional markets to manage campaign bookings with media vendors and agency teams
• Oversee the purchasing, trafficking and proof of delivery for campaigns
• Manage awareness of deals by working with local markets to help sell-in and explain the value
• Create and maintain International deals, to ensure inventory fulfilment
• Push out the frameworks for various centralizeed deal types to markets
• Collaborate across the holding company as an Apex liaison to the agency brands
• Interface with the global Apex markets as esacalation point of contact.
Required experience:
• Working knowledge of media systems and tools e.g. Media Ocean, Prisma, Caria
• Action-oriented, self-motivated and energetically driven against the face of challenges
• Desire to seize opportunities, and is very bottom-line oriented
• Interest in commercial constructs, trading and negotiating
• Ability to work with different markets/cultures to bring most value and keep teams on track and on target
• 5-7 Media agency background: buying, trading, business operations
