The Manager, Network Infrastructure Operations is accountable for the ongoing management, support, implementation and maintenance of the data network systems and corporate data centers. This includes long range forecasting for capacity, ensuring security best practices are followed, lifecycle management, and up-time performance. Optimization of existing data network and center management services, preventative maintenance programs, monitoring and alerting systems, and off-hours monitoring of maintenance events.
Responsibilities
• Leads interaction with the Facilities, Engineering, IT, and Infrastructure teams to align strategies and plans. Leads coordination for complex IS network (Routers / Switch / Firewall) and data center projects.
• Ensure all data network and data center systems and services achieve a reliable and stable status. Identify and close any gaps in or risk to reliability and stability.
• Identifies and implements industry best practices. Research current and future industry technology.
• Ensures communication of process and procedure changes to key stakeholders. Drives the development and maintenance of documentation for IS network and data center standards, policies, and procedures. Identify process improvement areas and develop the improvement initiatives. Ensures security best practices are followed.
• Proactively promote consistent performance measurement and skill development, actively participate in HR performance measurement processes, provide input to staffing plans and set priorities for your team.

Experience and Educational Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or related technical certifications preferred
• Minimum 3 years relevant work experience preferred
• Strong understanding of the business and industry preferred
• Highly experienced in standardization, re-engineering, and process improvement
• Strong change management skills; change agent
• Strong technical project management experience running cross-functional teams
• Excellent presentation skills demonstrated in front of large audiences; Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent problem solving / analytical skills and knowledge of analytical tools
• Prior experience creating, defining, and analyzing metrics that accurately reflect the current state of a given process or operation
• Certification(s) in relevant field of expertise (CCIE, CCDE) is preferred.
• Experience supporting mission-critical infrastructure in a fast-paced environment
• Background in IT Data Center Management design, operations, and support.
• Demonstrated ability to coach and teach associates in an ongoing effort to improve the performance of the team.
• Proven ability to influence and build strong relationships with cross-functional teams; ability to lead meetings and develop consensus for solutions.
