Job Summary:
Oversees full-cycle marketing activities
Deploys existing marketing resources and products by defining and developing new marketing objectives that accelerate brand development and recognition by executing end-to-end marketing strategies for the organization’s digital platform. Builds and executes unique revenue opportunities that leverage all aspects of the organization’s product offerings for key advertisers and across all national media platforms. Implements social media marketing strategy with the focus towards growth of social audiences. Exercises in-depth monitoring and awareness of the competitive landscapes. Produces online marketing plans and other promotional materials to guide national and local online initiatives. Works with the product development teams to create new revenue opportunities across all product and programming offerings. Supports transactional teams on day-to-day business operations. Builds and manages relationships at all levels to fully understand business and marketing objectives. Establishes and maintains high profile in social media community.
Hands-on diverse support for local events
Assists the promotions or marketing departments with daily activities that promote the station(s), clients or events. Typical responsibilities include: Coordinates and attends meetings to plan events and event logistics. Drives promotional vehicles. Sets up and runs audio and other types of audio equipment. Hangs banners and other staging elements. Performs basic office administrative functions. Updates station web site. Conducts on-site promotions, and handles clients and listeners. Collaborates with multiple departments to create and execute promotions such as remotes, events, van hits and other street team activities from start to finish. Records events (i.e. photos, videos, audio and social media measures for station promotions). Sets up, breaks down and transports promotional event equipment as required. May coordinate and oversee on-site appearances, remotes and events. Attends client meetings with sellers and sales managers as needed. May be responsible for all winner prize fulfillment and release forms. Prepares contest rules, waivers, and release forms for on air, digital, social and other contests. Supervises prize inventory and in-studio prize sheets as well as awarding of prizes at events.

Qualifications
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, Photoshop and social media platforms
• In-depth knowledge of various paid marketing channels and technologies, e.g., paid search (Google AdWords), retargeting, social network advertising (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and more), and content distribution and placement networks like Outbrain and Taboola
• Up-to-date knowledge of digital marketing trends and potential new channels and strategies
• Excellent organizational skills; ability to prioritize and effectively manage time
• Expertise in handling marketing budgets and forecasting/reporting results
• Proven track record in creating, editing, and promoting written and visual content.

Work Experience
• Experience in public relations, corporate communications, content marketing, or relationship management
• 1-3 years’ experience in a similar role, e.g., pitching, crafting, and placing content externally, event management and sponsorships
Education
• 4-year college degree, preferably in Communications, Advertising or Marketing
