Senior Account Executive
Cumulus Media Columbia-Jefferson City, MO seeks an experienced sales professional to represent eight radio stations and integrated marketing solutions to local advertisers. The Mid Missouri Cumulus stations offer unique marketing opportunities utilizing radio commercials, digital solutions, and event- marketing. Top-rated stations include Soft Rock 101.5 KPLA, Q106.1 KOQL, 102.3 BXR, Nash FM 100.1 KBBM, News-Talk 1400 KFRU, Z104.1 KZJF, Cool 97.5 KJMO, and News-Talk 1240 KLIK.

The successful candidate must possess the following qualities:
• Minimum two years media sales experience in radio, TV, cable, digital, or print. (candidates with digital/social media/event sponsorship sales background will receive strong consideration)
• Performance rank in top 10-20% of company in past positions
• Performance rank for new business development in top 10-20% of company in past positions
• Ability to create unique advertising programs for clients and prospects utilizing the station’s assets and new ideas
• Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills
• MS Office proficiency and basic understanding of CRM Systems
• Ability to thrive in an extremely high-energy and fast-paced environment
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred from an accredited university
• Strong desire to win, competitive by nature, disciplined, and ambitious
