This position leads a team of technologists who work on integrating the IgnitionOne Website Personalization product and features on client sites. He/She is responsible for the work of others, resource allocations, and decision-making affecting the success of assigned. This position provides consultation, training, and subject matter expertise for applications’ development, maintenance, and support.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Must have at familiarity with development in PHP with Database experience
• Must have at least 2-3 years of experience in leading a team of developers in multiple global locations
• Experience with Web Services and technologies such as SOAP, REST, HTML, XML, SQL, PHP, LAMP and other similar frameworks
• Experience with Agile, SCRUM and Kanban Development Methodology
• Bachelor's degree and/or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, Apache, NGINX, SVN, Git
• Familiarity with ISO 27001 data security standards and practices
Responsibilities:
• The position involves oversight of a full-stack web engineering team.
• The Technical Implementation Manager partners with Account Managers and Project Managers to understand client requirements and then leads the development team to execute these requests
• The Technical Implementation Manager drives the continuous pursuit of process improvement in software development, and performs hands-on systems consulting and guidance as well as troubleshooting as needed.
• Continually research, discover and recommend web development process improvements that promote improved efficiency, collaboration, and quality.
• Provide leadership in support of the technology roadmap, as well as organizational direction and culture.
• Lead execution and delivery of new initiatives as well as oversee operational support for solutions in production.
• Lead and facilitate technical work planning sessions, sprint planning, and standup sessions.
• Mentor, guide, and coach a team of web developers. Coordinate training opportunities that support growth of professional/technical skills to drive increases in quality and business value.
• Demonstrate an understanding of future trends in technology and how they impact the current and future state of the solution; present actionable information about these trends to development teams and senior management.
• Ensure that technical solutions are aligned with established Digital standards with respect to security, corporate governance, coding standards, monitoring, testing, source code management, and deployment.
• Participate in the creation and execution of strategic technology plans
• Establish and maintain standards for development and QA workflow, consistent with defined objectives and strategic direction
• Other tasks and duties as needed to support the team and/or business.
