The Baltimore Sun is looking for an enterprising, versatile data journalist with programming skills and reporting chops to provide experiences that give our audiences the data and facts behind the stories we tell.
Responsibilities

Ability to create quick, thoughtful data visualizations and graphics across all platforms is a plus.
Strong applicants must be technically savvy and able to quickly master new processes and software tools quickly, work with others to solve problems and deliver on deadline. They must work well in a team, but also will develop their own ideas and projects and collaborate with editors across the newsroom to identify the best ways to tell stories.
The work will involve a mix of daily, short-term and long-term data analysis and reporting, and will be expected to design graphics and write stories based on their data analysis. This data journalist will report within our interactive design and visuals team.
