Skyword is seeking an experienced marketer to oversee content strategy for the redesign and relaunch of an enterprise-wide system of health-care websites. The end goal of the project is to increase patient acquisition through user-centered content and responsive design.
The Web Content Strategist will work with the Director of Content Services at Skyword to manage the client relationship, ensure delivery of all client deliverables and orchestrate other Skyword resources to meet our clients’ goals. The successful candidate will be a flexible self-starter who excels in fast-paced environments with evolving demands and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:
• Work with a cross-functional team of project managers, editors, UX designers, and developers on the delivery of high-quality content that is in line with proposed strategy
• Use Skyword’s cloud-based content marketing platform to support the delivery of content to client’s new CMS and website
• Manage a budget dedicated to supporting a team of freelance writers that will produce original, exclusive online content for our clients’ websites
• Develop and implement a keyword strategy across all content
• Make strategic recommendations about content modules and wireframe components to develop an engaging mix of written and visual content geared toward engaging and informing current and prospective patients
• Inform sitemaps and taxonomies to successfully develop a new content ecosystem focused on patient acquisition
• Work with Skyword’s Editorial team to ensure writers are properly trained on the content standards for their programs
• Train clients to use the Skyword platform
• Provide clients with ongoing reporting and strategic recommendations
• Ensure delivery of monthly program goals
• Work internally, across departments, to deliver compelling solutions for our clients
Core Competencies:
• Health care marketing and content strategy experience preferred but not required
• Strong organizational skills, written and verbal communication skills

Requirements:
• Position is based in Boston; occasional travel required
• Bachelors degree or equivalent
• 2-4 years of digital marketing
• 1-3 years of search, social and content marketing
• 2-3 years of client management
• Experience with online content and SEO is preferred
• Experience working with digital advertising agencies or consultancies is preferred
• Experience within a startup, high tech environment is preferred
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Solid references
