We are looking for a National Account Manager to manage day to day responsibilities of assigned accounts and team members. Qualified candidates will be high performers, detail oriented with a positive attitude, and thrive in a fast-paced team environment. The successful candidate will provide administrative and customer service support utilizing a deep understanding of the company’s multimedia solutions. The person in this position will report to the National Sales Managers.
Responsibilities
• Daily interaction with national station reps, existing agency and direct clients. This responsibility includes maintenance of client campaigns on television and online, regular tracking of client audience delivery using Nielsen ratings, pulling research, developing presentations, merchandising the station and generally providing a high level of customer service.
• Able to make decisions and solve problems independently to support National Sales Managers.
• Manage the implementation of programs and schedules sold by National Sales Managers; this includes the coordination of production, entering orders and demonstrating proof of performance.
• Partner with National Sales Managers and National Reps in the development of new/incremental revenue.
• Assist National Sales Managers with maintenance of contracts, order input, make-goods, under-delivery schedule and overall customer service.
• Accurately schedule customers’ traffic; reviews and coordinates changes.
• Create up new customer accounts, contracts, etc.
• Assist with account make good/ reconciliation needs.
• Work with National Sales Coordinator to delegate responsibilities and streamline work flow.
• Self-motivation and willingness to work as a team player are essential attributes; creativity, flexibility, and ability to change with our industry are also keys to success.
• Attend sales meetings and training to obtain sales, product and process information and keep abreast of company products and services to articulate to client, when appropriate.
• Organization and execution of station events as needed.
• Perform other tasks, as assigned.
Job Requirements
Requirements
• College degree preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft office and extremely computer literate.
• Minimum 2 years of account service support or customer service in a professional, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work effective as part of a team and independently.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects effectively under deadline pressure.
• Learn new software and processes quickly, and adapts to ongoing change.
• Position requires strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong organization and time management.
