Overview
HarperCollins Children’s Books is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager who is sharp, creative, and highly-motivated. The ideal candidate is extremely knowledgeable about digital marketing trends, will be able to manage multiple projects, creatively take consumer engagement to new levels, and deliver high-quality campaigns that support our books, authors, and brands.
Responsibilities
• Serve as website producer; ensuring consistency of website content and strategy across digital channels
• Manage creation of landing pages and subsequent updates including planning, process and policy development, monitoring, metrics and reporting
• Execute marketing campaigns with continual use of analytics and testing to maximize revenue, and help marketing teams optimize engagement & ROI
• Research and recommend features and solutions to create compelling digital content that increases consumer engagement and acquisition across channels
• Track and analyze user behavior, competitive offerings, and industry changes to produce regular reports for business team and decision makers
• Establish consumer acquisition goals; work with marketing teams to augment strategy and meet goals
• Define and manage SEO/SEM strategies to increase search engine rankings
• Coordinate regular meetings to ensure digital marketing and web strategies are aligned with marketing needs
• Assist in planning, development, and implementation of ecommerce strategy
• Assist in management of vendor relationships with key site marketing and technology partners
• Keep current with trends and changes in marketing, eCommerce, web development, and advertising
• Manage internal and external creative resources
Qualifications
• Minimum 3 years of experience in digital marketing space working with CRM systems and email marketing platforms
• Extensive knowledge of Analytics, Social Media, SEO and SEM, Photoshop and HTML
• Highly motivated, resourceful, problem solving, self-starter with the ability to multi-task and keep numerous projects on track and on budget in a fast-moving environment
• Up-to-date knowledge of digital marketing best practices, tactic, and strategies
• Capability to document, communicate and integrate results into specific action plans and manage project plans for implementing marketing campaigns
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills required; must be able to present results and actionable plans to colleagues, executives, authors, and prospective partners
