The Enterprise Managed Services Division (EMSD) of Canon Solutions America is looking for qualified interns to join our Business Strategy & Marketing team. Our department consists of multiple functions including Project Management, Proposal Writing, Marketing Analytics, Research, and Client Events Planning/Support. Rotation through these areas is possible depending on the candidate’s skills and interest
Intern should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment, and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of corporate business.
Responsibilities
• Assist in the development of a standard mechanism for the organization and storage of past customer proposals and presentations
• Support the design and development of infographics and other marketing materials
• Proof-reading, editing, and writing of customer facing communications
• Partner with key division staff to complete assessment projects and formulate recommendations based on clients’ objectives
• Assist with the updates of Capabilities Presentations
• Conduct research on clients and potential clients for competitive opportunities
Canon Solutions America is looking for undergraduate students in the New York City Metro area, who is interested in Business, Communication, and Marketing. This person should have excellent research, analytical, and document creation skills.
Candidates should have strong verbal and written skills. The ideal candidate is meticulous, collaborative, and a quick learner who is passionate about communications
Qualifications
• Majors: Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Business Administration or related subject
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Visio
• Presentation creation experience in PowerPoint, Prezi and other tools
• Photoshop and Adobe Suite is a plus
