To assist publisher(s) in support areas to achieve departmental goals
Accountabilities:
• Prepare publisher reports, presentations, correspondence, general mailings
• Maintain information, contacts, schedules & procedures
• Update databases
• Maintain publisher(s) files
• Process invoices. coordination of individual & group activities
• Arrange travel, meetings, schedules, tabulate surveys
• Editorial liaison
• Communicate and coordinate activities with outside editors, authors, societies and internal staff
• Independently follow up as required to meet schedules and regularly update team on status of activities
Qualifications:
• College degree preferred
• 1-2 years of relevant office experience, with internship experience highly desirable
• Concern for detail and accuracy, flexibility, and achievement orientation
• Initiative, ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects effectively
• Customer service orientation, interpersonal understanding, relationship building, self-confidence
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook
• Internet experience
• Proofreading
