Visual & UX Designer
Our Marketing team is responsible for promoting one of the most disruptive educational technologies in the world. Our work is meaningful; we change the lives of our students and we are on a mission to change the lives of the additional two-billion English learners on the planet that we haven’t reached yet.
This role will be responsible for managing the visual brand of the company over all segments, including marketing materials, sales collateral, internal presentations, and all outward facing content. Additionally, this role will work with the Product Team to execute designs for product updates and new features.
Your work:
• Designing content within the Voxy brand guides
• Creating both digital and print collateral for marketing and sales purposes
• Supporting internal teams on the creative needs they have (image research, illustration, etc.)
• Collaborate with the Marketing team on incremental UX updates to the website
• Create new feature layouts for the product from inspiration through wire-framing and design
• Collaborate with the Software Development team on implementing revised UX/Front end designs
• Create custom illustrations for new courses and product content
You’ll need to have:
• Bachelor's degree or higher and evidence of academic success
• 2 or more years’ experience in UX and visual design
• Outstanding project management and prioritization abilities
• Ability to work autonomously while also thriving in a team environment
• Experience using HTML, CSS, jQuery, and JavaScript
• Extensive knowledge of Adobe CC Suite (Especially AI and INDD)
• Sketch
• Microsoft Suite (Especially Powerpoint/Keynote)
• High energy and positive attitude
• The ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
It would be nice to have:
• Experience with SaaS and/or a start-up environment
• Invision (prototyping, Inspect, etc)
• Zeplin
• Wordpress
• HTML/CSS knowledge
• After Effects / Video editing
• Asana / Project Management Tools
