Job Description
The Associate Director, Media Research acts as a front-line liaison between the client and client team and research/consumer professionals throughout the agency and Publicis network. Also, be a resource for questions and further the capabilities with regard to syndicated planning tools including Nielsen TV Ratings, IMS, ComScore Media Metrix, eMarketer, Forrester, etc.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Execute, manage, and deliver best-in-class measurement & insight to inform communication strategy
• Primary contact for the National Video buying team, executing and measuring campaigns and analyze results for Online Video against key metrics
• Primary client rep for brand and consumer research analysis that yields unique insights and opportunities
• Resident expert in research, forecasting, and scenario planning tools for the account, proactively educating internal and external clients on methodologies and approaches
• Provide support for media fundamentals and competitive intelligence across all lines of business
• Help answer client questions, create client-ready presentations and present at client meetings
• Construct and execute "test and learn" measurement and consumer research roadmaps tied to business goals
• Support measurement execution focused on ad/media effectiveness, brand health and consumer behavior that capture campaign performance, inform optimizations and impact future plans
• Communicate opportunities, learnings and recommendations with authority and credibility
Qualifications
• 6+ years experience in a research related role media research and/or planning experience at an agency or content company. Agency preferred.
• Advanced MS- Word, Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
• Excellent analytical, written and communication skills
• Working knowledge of media research sources and terminology across multiple media sources
• Experience using data and deliverable software across media channels for research purposes, including Nielsen, MRI, GWI, comScore, NetBase, and others.
• Undergraduate degree required, post graduate a plus
