Job Summary:
The Security Associate will take part in a number of exciting ongoing day to day cyber operations and governance projects that will improve the Cybersecurity readiness of iHeartMedia.

iHeartMedia Inc. Information Security/Security Associate
To join the Team you will need the following experience:
• Completing a Bachelors degree from a 4-year institution; 3.0 GPA (strongly preferred)
• Working towards one of the following information security certifications (CEH, CISSP, SANS)
• Actively competing in university or industry cyber security training
• Actively participating in at least one academic or industry Cyber Security Association
• 3 years of industry experience or in the final semester of a Cyber Masters degree program
• Academic background in information security/risk analysis, incident response, computer science, computer engineering or a similar major with extensive computer-based or technical content
• A great attitude and hunger for learning and an ability to work within a team environment
• Excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills coupled with a strong work ethic
• Knowledge and basic understanding of the following technologies, platforms and frameworks:
◦ Network Topologies
◦ Security Appliances for example Firewalls, NIDS/HIDS, Web Proxies, Vulnerability Scanners
◦ Open Systems Interconnect Model (OSI), NIST and CMMI Frameworks
◦ Cloud Platforms such as AWS, Google and Microsoft Azure
◦ Compute endpoint operating systems such as Windows, Apple and Linux
Information Security Associate Job Role:
The Security Associate will take part in a number of exciting ongoing day to day cyber operations and governance projects, which include:
• Developing Information Security Standards, which establish safe computing guidelines
• Learn Security Awareness and participate in educational phishing exercises
• Learn different Cyber & Financial Security Frameworks such as NIST, COBIT and PCI
• Participate in Cyber Team Incident Response Threat Mitigation Activities
• Learn skills in Vulnerability Management, Application Security, Network and Endpoint Security
• Improve their understanding of threat landscapes that can compromise systems & company data
• Understand and use the security triad (confidentiality, integrity and availability)
