Position Summary
Title: Senior Accountant
Reports to: VP Finance
Location: Port Washington
Responsibilities
• Prepare/Enter/Post journal entries
• Analyze and reconcile account balances monthly
• Distribute monthly financial statements
• Record and reconcile Intercompany invoices/payments
• Prepare and submit analysis of cash balances/requirements
• Research and analyze entries
• Assist Accounts Payable with recording vouchers, debits and payments
• Post Account Receivable invoices
• Generate and distribute accounting reports
• Format and upload budgets in the accounting system
• Support month-end and year end close and reporting process
• Administrative/clerical projects as needed
Key Competencies
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• 2 - 3 years related experience
• Excellent computer skills (advanced excel)
• Strong organizational skill, self-motivated and focus on achieving deadlines
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Detail oriented; problem solver
• Experience with Epicor a plus
• Professional, flexible attitude
