HMH is looking for a Marketing Specialist. This role is responsible for creative execution of regional collateral to support the following sales groups: core K-12, Intervention, and Professional Services.
Primary Responsibilities
• Execute marketing projects for sales including ads, posters, invites, flyers and email campaigns, or other items as directed to support sales revenue
• Design, write, edit and proof customer facing materials with precise accuracy for grammar and content
• Implement approved templates to ensure consistency and expedite projects
• Ensure HMH brand elements / guidelines are met with consistency
• Use Workfront as communication platform for processing and executing email projects
• Monitor assignments via SharePoint (intake tracker for project requests submitted by sales and others); ensure projects are on-task and priority deadlines are escalated; update Notes information and status through to completion and returned to initial requestor
• Anticipate and communicate project risks and issues, and manage daily aspects of project delivery; regular updates to manager and sales requestor
• Actively engage and communicate with sales for status, delivery of final project and sharing any available statistical information
• Facilitate the timely posting (e.g. to Sales Hub, BOX or SharePoint), of final regional marketing assets for proper storage and backup
• Collaborate with SSRs to execute direct mail deliverables that support adoptions, sales presentations and marketing campaigns
• Input and manage appropriate campaign tactics and related processes/workflows through Workfront
• Provide consultative knowledge and input to support campaigns and process improvements
• As needed, participate in the development and tactical execution of targeted campaigns by researching and aggregating local or state educational data/information as related to HMH solutions
• As needed, coordinate project production, print specifications, and delivery to ensure timelines are met
• Maintain relationships with all internal partners
Education and Experience
• Bachelor Degree in Marketing, English, Communication or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years’ experience creating/managing marketing collateral or providing marketing support
Knowledge and Skills
• Strong writing, proofreading, copyediting skills
• Superior organizational skills
• Excellent ability to prioritize and multitask with minimum direction
• Able to develop and present complex concepts clearly, both verbally and in writing
• Proficient in MAC and all MAC-based operating systems
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite/Creative Cloud
• Experience with SalesForce, Workfront, and/or SharePoint - a plus

Physical Requirements
• Might be in a stationary position for a considerable time (sitting and/or standing).
• The person in this position needs to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
• Must be able to collaborate with colleagues via face to face, conference calls, and online meetings.
