We are seeking a manager or associate manager to join its new Research & Insights team in New York. This role will be dedicated to supporting our sales and marketing teams by using research, data, and a strong dose of creativity to tell our unique brand story to help drive advertiser interest in and affiliation for Quartz.
Responsibilities:
• Run and analyze syndicated research to extract the best insights and stories for Quartz (proactively and in response to RFPs)
• Create compelling sales collateral that promotes Quartz’s audience (presentations, sell sheets, etc.)
• Aid the Director in executing large-scale custom research studies on behalf of Quartz and clients (including our annual Global Executives Study)
• Identify high-value audience segments and develop go-to-market positioning in collaboration with the Quartz Analytics team
• Work closely with sales and the brand development team to evangelize the Quartz brand among the advertising community
You are:
• A mix of left and right brain — you’re equally comfortable analyzing data and crafting an audience story
• Proficient in pulling and analyzing @plan, Comscore, IPSOS and Omniture data
• Familiar with custom research studies and have experience managing outside research vendors
• Have strong written/verbal communication and organizational skills
• A voracious fan and consumer of great journalism
