Job Summary:
Overview:
Working with Ad Effectiveness leadership this person will be responsible for the management and delivery of iHeartMedia’s campaign measurement solutions. He/she will manage projects from beginning to end, including methodology design, survey development, data analysis, and results interpretation via written reports and/or presentations.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to begin a career in the market research field. Someone who wants to translate a passion for research and consumer behavior into a tangible skill set while also getting the chance to be at the forefront of measurement in a developing category.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Management of advertising effectiveness studies through all phases of the research process from inception to completion.
◦ Vendor selection: Work closely with established suppliers during the RFP process
◦ Study design: Consult on appropriate study methodology for each project and implement
◦ Survey development: Create survey using established templates as well as input from various partners, internal and external
◦ Vendor management: Manage relationship over study duration
◦ Data analysis: Analyze data and develop valuable insights
◦ Development of final deliverables.: Create a deliverable document/presentation
◦ Client Interaction: TBD based on each individual candidate’s experience level and comfort but there will be internal and external client interaction in this role
• Communication
◦ Act as the primary liaison between vendors, operations, and other internal/external stakeholders to move projects efficiently through the entire research process.
◦ Work with internal clients (Sales/Marketing, etc.) nd external clients (End clients/agencies) to align on timing and on time delivery of projects
• Problem Solving
◦ Create imaginative solutions for various problems as they arise across projects, utilizing the access and materials available.
• Critical Thinking and New Methodology Development
◦ Working closely with your manager, participate in discussions and meetings around development of new tools/solutions in audio effectiveness measurement
Required Qualifications:
• 1 year experience in a relevant field
• Knowledge of the research process components including:
◦ Questionnaire development/Survey logic
◦ Sampling issues
◦ Data cleaning, weighting
◦ Cross tabbing
• A passion for research-Desire to learn/Interest in a research career
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through
• Excellent analytic skills
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle multiple assignments and changing priorities
• Ability to work smart and efficiently
• Ability to work under a continual sense of urgency
Preferred, but not required:
• Desire to use critical thinking to help come up with new solutions
• Prior experience at a market research supplier and/or a custom research background
• Prior exposure to vendors such as Millward Brown, Nielsen, Research Now, Ipsos
• Experience developing actionable insights from data
• Knowledge of a variety of different research methods
• Independent thinker
• Self-motivated-Ability to jump right into the work with minimal training
