Job Summary:
Overview:
The Manager will work closely with the VP, Ad Effectiveness to deliver strong valuable insights while continuing to evolve campaign measurement at iHeartMedia. As a new member of this small but high performing team, this person will be responsible for the management and delivery of a large portion of iHeartMedia’s effectiveness work, both directly and indirectly. The Manager will handle the largest and most complex measurement projects themselves and will manage 1-2 direct reports and their workload.
This is a great growth opportunity for someone looking to grow their management skills while still remaining rooted in day to day project execution and delivery.
Primary Responsibilities:
(50%) Effectiveness Project Work
• Management of a majority of the advertising effectiveness studies through all phases of the research process with a specific focus on:
• Managing day to day vendor relationships
• Providing valuable analysis with actionable insights
• Regular presenting of results to internal and external clients
(30%) Event Measurement
• Development of internal surveys using 3rd party tools (Qualtrics)
• Supervising measurement vendors onsite at tentpole events, including coordination with other iHeartMedia groups and onsite problem solving
• Acting as primary liaison internally for all parties regarding onsite measurement
• This will be a shared responsibility with the VP
(20%) Management and Coaching
• Manage 1-2 direct reports at the Sr. Analyst level including workload and prioritization
• Train/Coach on job responsibilities/market research basics
• Train/Coach on how to better interact with the larger market research industry
Required Qualifications:
• 4-6 years of experience in market research, client or supplier side
• Strong experience with campaign/Ad effectiveness measurement
• Mastery of multiple research approaches including survey based measurement
• Ability to travel 20% (tentpole events/client meetings)
• Experience managing a direct report
• Experience presenting research results to a non-research audience
• Ability/Desire to handle a heavy project workload and all that comes along with that
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytic skills
• Ability to work under a continual sense of urgency
• Desire to have fun!
Preferred, but not required:
• Event measurement experience
