As a Banquet Captain, your role will include:
Job Responsibilities:
*The Banquet Captain is responsible for training and coaching all Banquet service employees, managing payroll regarding the efficiency and effectiveness of the staff and maintaining inventory and supplies as necessary to support catering business.
*The Banquet Captain is responsible for assisting Catering Managers in the pre-planning details of events; creating diagrams, requisitioning equipment and communicating with the culinary team. Also, responsible for making adjustments to Banquet Event Orders in Delphi, relaying information to banquet staff, and overseeing the execution of all aspects of events before, during and after according to Wynn Las Vegas and Encore Service Standards.
*Responsible for any other duties as determined by the Banquet Management.
Job Requirements:
*Candidates must be able to communicate in English fluently and in a professional manner.
*Requires 3-5 years of banquet management experience, preferably in a management position in a high-end, high-volume hotel.
*Candidates must exhibit extensive F&B and service knowledge.
*Must be computer literate, including MS Office, POS, Delphi and Meeting Matrix or others alike.
*Requires the ability to lead within a team environment and to work a varying schedule as business demands.
*Must be able to obtain and maintain any licensing or active work cards required, at present or in the future, for this position at all times.
*Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
