Description
Triangle Arts Association seeks a Program Manager. This position will suit a highly motivated, flexible individual who wishes to gain a range of experiences at a small non-profit (2 staff members), working closely with our director and 4 artists in residence. Duties include but are not limited to:
Assisting with residency coordination, including scheduling meetings, artist housing, travel, visas and other documentation
Managing open studios, artist talks and other events, including basic A/V setup
Helping to prepare studios for incoming residents (basic painting and patching of walls, etc.)
Maintaining a presence on social media
Updating website and mailing list; preparing email newsletters
Managing studios: resolving minor repairs, scheduling, and other issues;
Coordinating grant applications
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to work very independently as a vital member of a small and dedicated staff;
Superior written and oral communication skills;
Proactive, problem-solving mindset;
Ability to work/attend occasional evening and weekend programs or events.
This is a 25 hour a week position (1-6pm, Mon-Fri; start and end times can be negotiated) at $18/hourly. Some evening and weekend hours required.
