Requirements
Purpose of the Role:
Macmillan Learning is looking for an Inventory Assistant to join the Boston based team. This position will support Operations/Inventory in a liaison capacity with MPS teams and the sales force.
Responsibilities:
• Review backorders daily and determine course of action.
• Communicate with sales reps, customer service and Operations team regarding specific backorder resolution.
• Provide daily list of cancelled orders and periodic alternatives to sales force.
• Review and submit package assembly work orders to warehouse team.
• Review pack on demand backorders for release, cancel, substitution
• Prepare weekly backorder summary for distribution to stakeholders
• Assist with ISBN set up and other special projects
Skills/Experience Required:
• Strong communication skills; customer service; basic Excel
• Experience in publishing preferred
