Requirements
Purpose of the Role:
Macmillan Learning is looking for an Inventory Manager to join the Boston based team. The Inventory Manager the daily process of inventory analysis to ensure product availability with minimal stock-outs.
Responsibilities:
• Routinely review inventory levels and recommend reprints for core products.
• Analyze forecast modeling results in short and long-term scenarios
• Provide approval and resolution to various ordering issues with sales reps, customer service and marketing teams.
• Track activity and place orders for digital print product line.
• Perform bi-annual analysis of pre-built packages – plan build & split strategies.
• Periodic review of return stock disposition.
Skills/Experience Required:
Strong skills in analytics, communication, attention to detail, problem solving; intermediate Excel; experience in publishing. College degree required
