Job Description
Overview:
Provide Data leadership within Zenith Media by applying expertise in how audience data can help impact a client’s business. Works with media planning teams to translate the client goals and objectives into actionable data applications through the DMP relationship. Audience data can help make smarter media decisions and this position is geared to helping facilitate the integration of this process into a media team.
This position requires a highly motivated, technical savvy, analytic thinking, and entrepreneurial person to lead the day to day teams in how to best use data and ad tech to drive client goals.
Responsibilities:
• Help clients launch DMP, Attribution, TMS and other data and audience based technology solutions across display, video, social, mobile and all offline media
• Guide and drive use of audience data to impact media strategies for client account(s) based on overall objectives
• Manage day to day relationship with DMP (Data Management Platform)
• Manage day to day client relationships focused on data
• Act as resource to demonstrate agency knowledge of digital strategies
• Build and maintain relationships with data and technology vendors and internal agency counterparts
• Oversee, author and/or constructively edit and review the writing of media documents (timelines, POVs, RFPs, plans, agreements, client memos, and correspondence from within and outside the agency).
• Prepare data strategy presentation and drive integration in media plan focused on audience details
• Integrate with the Media Planning team to make data management a central tool for smarter planning
• Lead weekly media meetings with clients/internal teams and providing insight into audience insights and results
• Lead client presentations
• Build and maintain relationships with audience data partners and internal agency counterparts
• Understand and adopt new trends and/or processes in Interactive Media for clients and for Zenith Media
• Managing the process of defining audiences to be leveraged, sharing of data with partners, and tracking and compiling performance reports regarding audience groups
• Maintaining knowledge of current DMP/Programmatic media trends and provide training to Zenith Media employees when necessary.
• Provide thought leadership driving innovation to achieve client needs
• Staying apprised of new and emerging technology, creative and programming applications for potential use for clients.
• Accurate and timely reporting of billable and non-billable time
• Other responsibilities, as assigned
Requirements:
• 6-8 years Digital planning or ad technology experience, preferably from a technology company or media agency or trading desk background
• Strong background in interactive work: DSPs, DMPs, third party audience data, OLV cross screen, data and analytics, etc…
• Experience with campaign management/ad serving technology (i.e. Double Click DART, Atlas DMT, Rich Media Partners)
• Experience leveraging audience data to make strategic investment and communication decisions
• Preferred working knowledge of third party Internet marketing research: comScore Media Metrix, Nielsen NetView, @Plan, NetRatings, and others
• Required PC proficiency and solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Experience analyzing data and market research
• Familiarity with basic accounting/math principles; basic statistical analysis experience is a plus
• Strong leadership, guiding cross functional staff
• Able to work autonomously or with minimal direction
• Must be a self-starter, with strong planning and organizational skills
• Strong time-management and organizational skills
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Proven ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, colleagues, and vendors
• Experience managing multiple, competing priorities, duties and/or projects
