Job Description

Premion (www.premionmedia.com) is leading the way at the local and regional level with advertisers and connecting them to premium, long form episodic content from over 100 network partners including Sling, Discovery, Fox, ESPN, Turner, TubiTV, Scripps and more.
The Opportunity
Premion is hiring a Director of Data and Platform Solutionsthat will be responsible to applying expertise in how audience data and technology can help impact a content programmer, agency, and brand’s business through better data-informed marketing decisions. This highly motivated, detail-oriented individual will take a leadership position in establishing and building our data solutions strategy by initiating, growing, and maintaining relationships with key content programmers, agencies, and brands.
As part of the role, the Director will be working with the product and technology to educate on uses of data, drive innovation in the data and tech space, partner with analytics to create test plans, generate key insights and profiles to align with strategic planning, and maximize value out of client partnerships.
This position will report to the President of Premion.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Take a leadership role in developing an overall data strategy for Premion by identifying data trends and technology trends in the OTT market.
• Responsible for selling the Premion Audience Selects DMP to content partners, brands, marketers, and agencies, and ultimately driving revenue (in the form of guaranteed monthly revenue plus revenue from usage of the platform)
• Generate leads and build relationships with prospects to create, develop, and maintain a strong pipeline of pending business.
• Leverage internal resources including marketing, product management, and tech/engineering to effectively communicate Premion’s Audience Selects DMP value proposition to prospects
• Partner with Director of Product and Technology and the MadHive product teams to launch the Premion DMP integrations and on-boarding for clients.
• Identify new product and data solution opportunities that can be developed or acquired by Premion / TEGNA.
• Proven record selling a licensed based technology solution in the AdTech ecosystem.
• Participate industry events, including panels, to further establish Premion as a thought leader in the industry.
Job Requirements
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field. MBA preferred but not required.
• 10-12+ years in digital media, ad technology, or account planning, with special emphasis on television, streaming video or related media.
• 8+ years of SaaS platform technology sales, preferably within the digital media industry
• Ability to handle multiple initiatives and effectively solve problems who is a self-starter that enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Exceptional organizational, project management, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead projects independently from start to finish, working with internal and external teams to make decisions and maintain forward momentum
• Able to present complex contently simply to senior clients or internal stakeholders
• Mac and PC proficient especially for presentation and proposal development
